A hand colored etching titled French Diligence. This etching depicts a group of people boarding a carriage surrounded by horses in front of a large house. The print features in-plate text to the bottom margin with the title and in-plate text to the lower right corner with the initials ‘GHG.’ The print is housed in a gold tone wooden frame under matboard and glass. Additional in-plate text may be obscured by the mat.

Condition

- discoloration and previous mat burn to page; pitting and irregularities to glass; abrasions and scratches throughout outer edges of frame.
