An offset lithograph after an oil painting by Robert Griffing, titled Victory Coat. Griffing (American) turned to painting after thirty years in advertising, with a continuous fascination for 18th century Eastern Woodland Native American life. This print of an original painting depicts a Native American putting on a British officer’s coat on the battlefield. It is print signed to the lower left, 1994, with a brass title plate in the lower center. The art is presented under non-glare glass in a dark stained composite frame with triple mats. It includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
