Circa 1920s Lithograph Poster for Fap'Anis Apéritif

Item Details

A large circa 1920s lithograph poster by the artist Delval for Fap’ Anis apéritif. It depicts a French actress in a gown with a billowing orange skirt lifting a glass of the liqueur in one hand and holding a large ostrich feather fan in the other. A bottle of the liqueur with the same image of the woman is depicted to the right and ‘Fap’ Anis Celui des Connaisseurs’ is written across the bottom of the poster. It is signed ‘Delval’ in the plate to the lower left and was published by Publicité Wall in Paris. It is mounted under glass in a black metal frame.
