Vintage Alpine and Bowler Hats with Hat Form
Item Details
A pair of vintage Alpine hats, a vintage bowler hat, and an early twentieth-century bowler hat form. The two Alpine hats are both made by Adalbert Breitter in Munich, Germany and feature a moss-green felted wool construction, five rows of cording with a single loop and tassel detail, a black leather interior band, and an enameled metal brooch on one of the hats which reads ‘Munchen’. Also featured is an early twentieth-century solid wood bowler hat form in the size 6-3/4, marked ‘JMK’ to reverse; and a vintage coffee-brown bowler hat with faux fur along the rim, marked ‘Plaza Suite, 100% wool’ to the interior.
