Item Details
A vintage Harman Kardon Citation I Stereo Control Center vacuum tube preamp featuring a walnut veneer case with silver tone and black metal faceplate with silver tone metal knobs and white plastic knobs. The piece features nine vacuum tubes and four tone controls. The Citation I was designed in the 1960s by Stewart Hegeman, a pioneering audio/visual equipment designer and early proponent of ultra-wide frequency response which later became essential for low-distortion amplifiers. Condition
- scratches and marks to walnut veneer; black marks noted. Did not power on when tested. Would benefit from dusting.
