A signed limited edition offset lithograph by John A. Ruthven (b. 1924) titled Winter Quartet. Ruthven is a well-listed Ohio wildlife artist, who features the winter birds of Cincinnati perched in a tree, including a Carolina Chickadee, a Purple Finch, a White-Breasted Nuthatch and a Tufted Titmouse. This print is after an original painting by Ruthven, and is pencil signed and print signed in plate to the lower right, and is numbered 77/400 in pencil to the lower right. It also includes an additional note signed ‘Christmas 1989 – John A. Ruthven’ to the left of the title. The print is presented under non-glare glass in a distressed silver tone and pink accented composite frame, with light gray and pink mats, and is ready to hang with a rear wire. The reverse also includes information from the official Wildlife Internationale Inc. Framed by Frame Concepts.
