A hand-knotted Persian Isfahan style area rug. This wool carpet features a color palette of icy mint, burgundy, mauve, taupe, forest green, dove gray, ivory, and pale pink. It features a circular medallion with prominent pendants on an ivory colored lozenge patterned with lancet leaves, Shah Abbasi palmettes, and curling vines. The icy mint main border features a scroll motif, lobbed flowers, and palmettes. It has fringe to either end and it is not marked.
