Vintage Mid-Century Swiss Elna "Grasshopper" Sewing Machine

A vintage mid-century Elna ‘Grasshopper’ portable sewing machine made in Switzerland. The green metal machine is type 500890. The machine can be inserted into the opened case to create a sewing table and the knee bar folds up for storage. It comes with a box of accessories including bobbins, an oil can, different feet, a cleaning brush, and more. Untested.

Condition

-powers on-light works, belt loose and runs needle. Not able to test sewing. Box with has bobbins and extra plates etc. Case is rusted. But machine is in better shape. All could use cleaning.
