A signed limited edition offset lithograph by John A. Ruthven (b. 1924) titled Red-Headed Woodpeckers. Melanerpes erythrocephalus. Ruthven is a well-listed Ohio wildlife artist, who depicts three red-headed woodpeckers on wood barrels near a white picket fence. This print is after an original painting by Ruthven, and is signed in plate and below the plate in pencil to the lower right, and is numbered 933/1000 in pencil to the lower left. The print is presented under non-glare glass in a dark brown stained composite frame, with green tone and red mats, and is ready to hang with a rear wire.
