Ruthven is a well-listed Ohio wildlife artist, who depicts a mother fox and her three young pups among the autumn landscape and fallen tree. This print is part of the Cherished Young Series, Plate I. It is signed in plate and below the plate in pencil to the lower right, and numbered 179/500 in pencil to the lower left. The print comes unframed, in an official Wildlife Internationale Inc. folder with gallery certificate of record.
