A signed limited edition offset lithograph by John A. Ruthven (b. 1924) titled Mourning Doves. Zenaida macroura with remarque. Ruthven is a well-listed Ohio wildlife artist, who depicts two mourning doves with a nest nestled in the leaves of a magnolia tree. This print is part of the Channel 48 Songbirds of Ohio Series, Plate II. It is signed in plate and below the plate in pencil to the lower right, and numbered 13/300 in pencil to the lower left, and includes a hand drawn remarque of a mourning dove to the lower left. The print is mounted under non-glare glass in a gold tone composite frame, with double mats, and is ready to hang with a rear wire. The reverse also includes information from the official Wildlife Internationale Inc., and framed by Frame Concepts.
