Item Details
In Plate
An offset lithograph after an oil painting by Henry F. Farny, titled Nomads. Farny (1847-1916) relocated from France to the eastern United States as a child, where he developed a fascination for the West and the vanishing Western tribes. Both painter and illustrator, Farny’s style is a combination of documentary realism and nostalgia. This art depicts the life of Native Americans traveling during the snowy winter. It is print signed ‘H.F. Farny 1902’ to the lower right. The art is presented under non-glare glass in a bronze-tone edged composite frame, with triple mats. Framed by Frame Concepts, Inc.
