A framed offset lithograph of Samuel Clemens in ’Harper’s Weekly,’ after an etching of the original painting by J. Carroll Beckwith. This colored Harper’s Weekly, Journal of Civilization, New York is edition Saturday, September 26, 1891, Volume XXXV- No. 1814. 10 cents. As noted below – ‘The cover page depicts Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) from the painting by J. Carroll Beckwith (see page 734).’ The print is mounted under non-glare glass in a dark stained wood frame, with off-white and charcoal mats. It includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
