WWII Japanese NIkko Navy “Big Eyes” Battleship Binoculars

Item Details

A pair of vintage naval optics from the maker Nikko. This pairing is a ‘Big Eyes’ sighting optics which were mounted on battleships used by the Empire of Japan to spot enemy aerial and naval positioning. This device features a 20 x magnification, three degree field of view, and has a production number of ‘646’. Additional markings are present on the undersides of the viewfinders.

Condition

- scratching, wear, oxidation and markings present on the chassis; large scratch present on the left lens; small scratches present on the right lens; the optics were not tested.
