An original one-sheet theatrical poster for the 1970 re-release of Walt Disney’s Fantasia. This psychedelic poster showcases the theatrical poster from the 1970s. Created in vivid, fluorescent tones, these posters feature characters from many of the musical numbers in the film, cascading down a yellow path that surrounds Chernabog, a formidable foe featured in the musical, originally released in 1940. The posters advertise that the re-release is both in Technicolor as well as stereophonic sound, a feat for the time. The marking down at the bottom reads ‘Re-Released by Buena Vista Distribution Co., INC.’ ’ Walt Disney’s Studio’ in black, lower right corner.
