Women's Vintage Dress and Sheer Lace Top

A women’s vintage dress and sheer lace top. The circa 1950s white, black and yellow butterfly print dress has a buttoned bodice with a collar, cuffed dolman sleeves, a fitted waist with a black ribbon tie belt and a gathered A-line skirt. The blouse is a white collarless style with ruffled front detailing, rhinestone embellishments, a buttoned back closure and buttoned cuffs with pearlescent buttons. Both pieces are unmarked.
Condition
- sheer shirt is yellowing, pet hair is evident in cuffs, rhinestone details appear to have been added later and are not original. Dress has significant staining on the back of the skirt, this staining is also evident on the linen underskirt, there is also splitting in the back seam.
