A cherry secretary desk by Jasper Cabinet. This cherry French Provincial style fall front desk with bookcase has a wide triple arching moulded cornice over a single arched door with a cartouche shaped frame around the glass pane, over the fall front of the desk, which serves as the writing surface when down, the interior fitted with six drawers with brass knobs and two large letter slots; all above three drawers with foliate brass pulls; the case on a moulded apron between short carved cabriole legs with scrolled feet. Marked: Jasper Cabinet inside of drawer.
