1963 Mattel "Midge" and "Skipper" Dolls
Item Details
A pair of 1960s Mattel Midge and Skipper dolls. This collection features teenage Midge, Barbie’s best friend, with rooted blonde hair styled in a flip, blue eyes, and freckled cheeks. She had red polish on her finger nails and wears a green and blue bikini. Also offered is Barbie’s littler sister Skipper with rooted brown hair, blue eyes, and pink lips. She wears a red and white striped romper with red flats. Additionally, five mini magazines and a sheer petticoat marked ‘Skipper, 1963 Mattel Inc’. Both dolls come in their original packaging.
Condition
- minor wear to original packaging; mark to “Midge” doll’s right ankle; discoloration to “Skipper” doll’s leg and missing shoe.
