A contemporary oil painting on panel by Chicago artist Errol Jacobsen (born 1948) titled Worm’s Eye. The piece depicts an Impressionist-inspired street scene, with figures, elevated train tracks and cars positioned around a busy city crosswalk. The work is rendered in a palette of warm red, yellow, orange, brown, grey and pink hues. It is initialed ‘E.J.’ in grey paint to the lower left. The painting is presented without glass in a grey wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
