6' x 9' Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Kashan Rug
Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Kashan area rug. This large piece features a crimson red field with a large ivory, indigo, and powder blue pendant medallion with a detailed floral and foliate pattern in pale blue, shades of green, lavender and fuchsia with ruby and taupe accents. The surrounding field repeats the pattern, leading to corner spandrels with detailed and crisp lobed blooming flowers and lancet leaves. Layered carnation floral guard borders frame a wide principal border with a deep blue-black field, It has a short natural cotton fringe to either end. Unmarked.
