A pair of color chromolithographs on paper heightened by hand with gilt from the 1890 publication Le Porcelaine Tendre de Sevres after Edouard Garnier (French, 1840-1903) and printed by Gillot. This pair includes two prints illustrating types of Sevres soft porcelain, and each features in-plate text with the name of the artist, printer, and publisher, Maison Quantin. Both prints are housed in gold tone wooden frames under glass and matboard.
Condition
- Stains and dirt throughout the image area and matte; matte is discolored; gold tone wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame; water stains; paper is bowed and a bit wrinkled.
