An antique engraving on paper after Walter, created after a painting by 19th-century portrait artist Holfeld. The piece depicts a young child reading from a book while sitting on a patterned cushion. The unsigned print includes artist and publishing information printed in plate to the lower margin. It is matted in cream and presented under glass in a rustic wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; discoloration, foxing and toning to paper and matting; edge wear, nicks and scratches to frame; tears to frame’s backing paper.
