A hand-knotted Pakistani Veramin area rug. This wool carpet has an autumnal color palette of warm burgundy, ocher, goldenrod,moss green, fawn, and beige. The rich burgundy colored field is patterned with large palmettes and floral vines arranged in a diamond lattice. It has a _herati_motif main border framed with bracketed floret guard borders. It is finished with overcast selvedges and warp fringe to either end. The rug is unlabeled.
