Vintage and Antique Transfer Printed Plates Including Wood & Sons
Item Details
A collection of vintage and antique transfer printed scenery plates by Wood & Sons and others. Included is a vintage mulberry transfer printed plate in the ‘Castles’ pattern depicting Dalguise Castle. It is marked to the underside ‘Enoch Woods, Castles, Wood & Sons England’. Also included are antique plates by an unknown maker marked ‘Acropolis’ and antique Asian plates dating 1825-35. The antique Charles Meigh & Sons Medina plates date between 1851-55.
