A set of two contemporary Impressionist-inspired oil paintings by American artist Joseph P. Grieco. Featured is an oil on canvas titled Windy Day, R.I. depicting a rural Rhode Island autumn landscape under twilight skies. Also featured is an oil on panel titled The Lineup, 59th St. NYC depicting a line of horse-drawn carriages queueing along the south end of Central Park at sunset. Both paintings are signed in paint to the lower right and additionally signed and titled in ink to the verso. They are presented without glass in matching black and copper tone wooden frames each fitted with hanging wire to the verso. - minor edge wear, nicks and scratches to frames; no backing paper present.
