Item Details
An original oil on canvas painting titled Bouquet au Ford Bleu by well listed French artist Robert Vernet-Bonfort (born 1934). The painting, rendered in a stylized realism, depicts a withering bouquet of flowers and foliage in a vase. It sits on a simple white table top against a blue background, and patterned drapery is visible to the left side. The work is signed to the lower right, and it is marked to the verso with the title and the artist’s name. Presented in a carved wood frame with a weathered finish, and a sawtooth hanging bracket to the verso.

- cracking to paint to upper right. Accretion across painting surface and frame.
