Herend "Rothchild Bird" Porcelain Dinner Plate
Item Details
A hand painted porcelain dinner plate in the Rothchild Bird pattern from Herend Hungary. The plate features a center aviary medallion surrounded by an array of colorful garden insects on a white background. The plate has a scalloped edge detailed with a painted gold band. It is marked to the reverse ‘Herend Hungary Handpainted 175’ and ‘1148-000/20 D2001.’ ‘Herend 8A 1148’ is pressed into the mold.
