An English stoneware flagon for Mitchell & Chadwick of Ilkeston England, circa 1920, with under-glaze writing to the front which reads ‘Mitchell & Chadwick, Botanical Brewers, Callows Inn Ilkeston’. The jug has incised mark for Pearson & Co., Whittington Moor, Chesterfield to the top near the handle.
