4' x 7' Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Malayer Rug
Item Details
An antique hand-knotted Persian Malayer rug. The narrow navy field of the rug is dominated by an exaggerated rust red medallion and matching spandrels with light blue accents. The field is circled by minor rhodesion borders and a principal meandering vine and lobed flower border with navy ground. The rug terminated in overcast edges and knotted cotton warp fringe.
