Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Gabbeh pictorial rug. The rug features an expansive cream colored lozenge field with a small ochre colored depiction of a deer. The field is bound by red and blue colored spandrels with additional deer depictions. Surrounding the field is a green and yellow barber pole border with blue sawtooth guard border. The rug terminated in cotton warp fringe at either end.
