An acrylic painting on canvas of an abstract composition by Susan Mitnick. This painting depicts a Minimalist style layering of teal, blue red, pale pink and cream stripes as its backing, which is heavily overlaid with spattered and scaled forms that dominate the lower half of the composition. The painting is presented in a thin, stained wooden frame featuring metal embellishments with hanging wire to the verso. Painted to the canvas verso on the edges and interior is an illegible inscription and ‘Mitnick’ possibly serving as a signature.
