U.S. Historical Society Pewter Rimmed Collectors Plates
Item Details
A grouping of eight U.S. Historical Society pewter rimmed collectors plates. The collection includes three plates depicting stained glass cathedral ‘Rose’ windows: The Rose of Lisbon from the Cathedral of Lisbon, Portugal; The Rose Window of Notre Dame; and The Creation Rose Window from the Washington Cathedral. Also included are three Christmas plates featuring stained glass windows depicting Mary holding Jesus as others look upon him; one plate dated 1984 and two identical plates dated 1988. Two Voyage To America plates featuring stained glass depictions of Columbus’ ships complete the collection. Certificates of authenticity included with some of the plates.
