1911 Turkey Red "Out At Third" Cabinet Baseball Card
Item Details
A 1911 ‘Turkey Red’ advertising tobacco baseball card. This large colorful illustrated cabinet style photo card presents a runner sliding into third base. Titled ‘Out At Third,’ this card is constructed of a thick cardboard with gold and black caption plaque. This card is No. 43 in this popular card set that was produced to advertise ‘Turkey Red or ’Old Mill’ tobacco products. The backside of this card serves as a checklist for ordering others in this set. This antique baseball card is housed in a protective top loader.
Condition
The left corner has been cut or trimmed. Soiling with edge and surface age wear. The colors are vivid. The corners are touched.
