Item Details
A framed first issue of Sports Illustrated magazine. This August 16th, 1954 first issue shows a full page cover image of Eddie Mathews at bat during a game between the Milwaukee Braves and New York Giants in the Milwaukee County Stadium. The magazine is presented behind a black mat and front glass encasing, held in a black frame. A gold tone plaque is placed to the lower margin and the frame is fixed with a wire to the verso for wall hanging.
