A Steiff Otto Steiff Replica 1912 teddy bear. This bear is handcrafted in a brown ‘distressed’ mohair plush, with a dark embroidered nose, dark brown eyes, 1912/1992 and US flag embroidered paws, with a striped bow. It is hand stuffed with “excelsior” wood shavings. The bear is a celebration of Richard Steiff’s brother Otto traveled to the US to explore expansion. The bear includes the metal Steiff ear button, model #406744, with Margarete Steiff Giengen certificate of authenticity marked number 00493, and is a limited edition of 5,000 pieces. The original box is also included.
