1828 Morris & Michael Emanuel London Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs

A pair of early 19th century English sterling silver sugar tongs made by Morris & Michael Emanuel of London, England. These tongs feature a Kings style pattern with a shell and fan design to the handles and bowls. They are engraved, ‘FAB’ to the top of the handle and hallmarked to the inside of the handle. The hallmarks represent a leopard head for London, lion passant for sterling, an ‘n’ for 1828, and a King George III duty mark. The approximate weight is 2.32 ozt.
