A silver gelatin photograph developed by an unknown hand from an original negative shot during the 1960s by very well-listed 20th century portrait photographer Philippe Halsman (American/Latvian, 1906 – 1979) titled The Wayward Wife. This monochromatic photograph depicts a nude young woman seated on a rocky wall in profile. She looks out at a winding, dirt road that disappears into a wooded background. The artist’s signature is stamped in white ink to the lower right. The photograph is dry mounted to a white mat board and is presented without framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
