A signed and carved Hopi Pueblo Clown (Hano) Kachina, by artist M. Cleveland. This sacred Clown Kachina is a whimsical black and white striped figure depicted with animal hide hat tassels, loin cloth, and knee straps, with feathered hair and cowboy boots. He is shown sitting on a stump with a carving knife and wood carving. Marked to the base ‘Hano Clown by M. Cleveland.’
