Vintage American Flag and Eagle Wall Ornament
Item Details
A vintage linen American flag and eagle wall ornament. The flag with a wood handle is marked with a tag ‘All Cotton – WPL-1721’. The metal American eagle is depicted in the iconic patriotic pose with its head turned to the right with outspread wings. The right claw clutches a shield, and the left claw clutches the crossed banners underneath. The wall decor item has a wire attached to the verso for hanging. It is marked with a foil sticker that reads ‘Lou Ehrlich – Made in Japan’.
Condition
- strong discoloration, chipping on eagle; flag discolored with age; wood rod worn.
