An oil painting on board of an equestrian western scene, signed ‘G. Hoffman’ and created in 1965. Portrayed with areas of rough textural impasto, expressionistic brushstrokes, and dark outlines, this work features a Native American man roping a horse among a pack of wild horses frantically scurrying about. The painting is signed and dated to the lower left. It is presented in a gold-tone wood frame.
