Jay Strongwater Embellished Picture Frame
Item Details
A picture frame by Jay Strongwater. The frame itself is enameled and the outer edge has been embellished with a string of claret-colored glass jewels in brass mountings. There are also brass and glass embellishments at the corners. The back of the frame features an easel-style stand of intricately cast brass that is also heavily embellished with glass jewels. Swivel catches to secure the back to the front are ornamental as well as functional. There are heart-shaped holes in the back of the frame which are rimmed in brass. A plaque is embossed ‘Jay Strongwater’.
