A pair of soapstone carvings. The first is in bas relief and depicts a jolly, nude man surrounded with cherubs and satyrs and with a female attendant in a flowing red garment. It is painted within the area of imagery and unsigned. The second piece is a black and white piece with engraved linework that depicts two figures in Inuit clothing wrestling on a tundra with mountains in the distance. It is signed illegibly to the lower right corner. Both works have hanging hardware to the versos.
