Vintage Hand-Painted Glidden Pottery "Running With by Glidden Design"
Item Details
A collection of vintage hand-painted dinnerware by Glidden, circa 1950s. Included are two sizes of plates, saucers, mugs, and cups. Each piece is light gray decorated with wide navy bands and a pattern of curls and swirls. The undersides are signed ‘Glidden’, with pattern numbers. Gliddenware is known for its utilitarian durability, and the brand was used as props on the I Love Lucy television show. Glidden codes on the undersides of these pieces include, 142, 1127, 65 and 35.
