Item Details
A hand-embroidered net lace doily. This lace piece features a netted fabric that has been embroidered with ornate floral motifs and finished with a scalloped edge. It has a centerpiece of woven fabric that is embroidered with a small needlepoint rose and daisies. The work is unsigned and mounted on a pale green ground, behind glass, and in a gold tone wood frame with molded floral ornamentation and wire to the verso for hanging.

- worn frame finish with cracks in molding; accretion to glass; light fraying to edges of lace.
