Antique English Sellers & Sons Cast Iron Hand-Crack Sewing Machine
Item Details
An antique portable sewing machine comprising a cast iron body with black paint and worn gold designs. The sewing machine is hinged to an oak base which includes a detachable oak cover with brass handle. The sewing machine has a hand-crack which moves the needle. It is partially marked with what appears to be ‘Seller’ along the the top, ‘England’ near the bottom, and serial number ‘88655’.

- item is untested; cannot be lifted off the hinges; heavy wear to black paint and gilt designs; smells of oil
