Vintage "Moritz Kreyssig" German Beer Crates
Item Details
A group of two vintage ‘Moritz Kreyssig’ German beer crates. Each dovetailed, wooden crate features twenty interior compartments with metal, corner brackets and slatted bottoms. One has lateral, cutout handles and is branded ‘Moritz Kreyssig / Neukirchen i/E’ while the other is fitted with a rope handle and marked ‘M. Kreyssig / Neukirgen’.
Condition
- both with scattered surface wear and weathering from use, including chips, cracks, and marks; rust to metal components; breaks/losses to metal corner brackets; some former pest damage (worming); one case missing a rope handle.
