Antique Charles II Oak Side Table, Circa Late 17th Century

An antique Charles II oak side table, circa late 17th century. The frame features a rectangular top with notched and tooled, lateral edges above a geometric-paneled, side-hung drawer with brass knobs. The table rises on block- and bobbin-turned legs joined by stretchers.

Condition
- scattered surface wear and imperfections as would be expected, including scratches, scuffs, and chips; top with filled cracks; underside of top reinforced with a later board; interior of case with a few other later reinforcement strips below top; top is probably married to the base; drawer bottom and back has been rebuilt; pulls are later; some former pest damage (worming); upper, front legs with screw reinforcements/repairs; other possible repairs/restorations.
