An oil painting on canvas of a village scene by listed Haitian artist Laurent Casimir (1928 – 1990). This painting, rendered in a palette of bold hues depicts straw huts and a large crowd of stylized figures. It is signed and dated ‘87’ by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is presented unframed.
