An original oil painting on canvas by Emmalene Hall Tackett. This still life painting depicts an Impressionistic inspired arrangement of white and pink flowers in a pastel yellow vase. Several fallen blossoms rest at the base of the vase, which is set against a mottled multi color background. The work is signed in the lower right of the canvas, and inscribed on the canvas verso ‘Emmalene Hall Tackett 1981 Lexington KY’. It is presented ready to hang in a gold tone wooden frame.
