Vintage Tudor Revival Oak Court Cupboard

Item Details

A vintage Tudor Revival oak court cupboard. This oak court cupboard is decorated with applied roundels and floral medallions, as well as chipped and incised carvings across the case. It has a molded cornice over a frieze of five incised carved floral demi-roundels, over a recessed carved cabinet with a door, between two large turned columns; this rests on top of the heavily carved lower cabinet, which has two large doors enclosing a deep storage area with one shelf. The lower edge of the cabinet is decorated at the base with egg and dart carving, above two large turned incised carved columns on square feet with a shelf on a carved base between the feet. No apparent maker’s mark.
